    Description

    This course provides instruction and assessment that meets the requirements set forth by STCW and the U.S. Coast Guard.

    Upon successful completion of this course the mariner will have received sufficient information and instruction to have obtained knowledge and understanding of the following topics:

    • Compliance with emergency procedures
    • Precautious to be taken to prevent pollution of the marine environment
    • Observing safe working practices
    • Contributing to effective communication on board ship
    • Understanding and taking necessary actions to control fatigue.
