    Description

    1. Hand Tool Safety Awareness:  This course is intended to provide a general overview of the safety-related work practices typically employed to provide a safe and healthy working environment for company employees who use portable hand tools.  It provides training in the safe-work concepts and techniques required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure workplace safety.2 HRS

     

    2. Power Tool Safety: This course is intended to provide a general overview of the safety-related work practices typically employed to provide a safe and healthy working environment for company employees who use power tools.  It provides training in the safe-work concepts and techniques required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure workplace safety.2 HRS

     

    3. Hearing Conservation: This course provides the learner with a general overview of the structure and content of a typical hearing conservation program. It addresses the regulations, common components and safety related work practices typically employed to implement and maintain a hearing conservation program. It provides training in the safe-work concepts and techniques required by the occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) to ensure workplace safety.  2 HRS

     

    4. Fall Protection Safety Awareness: This is an introductory course in fall protection principles and codes.  Persons taking this course should not be considered trained in the use of fall protective equipment nor considered a competent or qualified person for purposes of installing a fall arrest system without further site-specific training by a competent person and actual experience in the field.  3 HRS
