This 40-hour course of instruction is designed to provide to the Able Seaman a training experience that combines formal classroom instruction with actual hands-on performance and demonstration.

This 24-hour course is for seafarers who have not obtained the requisite 360 days of sea service in the past five years and need Basic Training Refresher training to renew their BST endorsement.

40 Hour Leadership & Managerial Skills course.

The goal and learning objective are to ensure the student, upon successful completion of the 56-hour course, will have met the testing requirements for application to the USCG as an Operator of an Uninspected Passenger Vessel.

Completion of this program leaves the student better prepared as an entry-level merchant mariner than nearly all others he or she will be competing with in the job market. Most entry-level applicants have no training or only Basic Training to add to their resumes and job applications. This program consists of 4 OSHA approved courses with certificates which can be added to your Resume and give you the ability to stand out from the rest of the applicants.

Students who successfully complete this 4-hour course will satisfy the PSSR training and competency requirements of STCW Code Section A-VI/1 and 46 CFR 11.302(a)(4) and CFR 12.602(d)(4).

Students who successfully complete the 12-hour PST course will satisfy the Personal Survival Techniques training and competency requirements of STCW Code Section A-VI/1 and 46 CFR 11.302(a)(1) and CFR 12.602(d)(1).

Each applicant who successfully completes this course will satisfy the training requirements of 46 CFR 11.480(d) for maintaining the validity of an endorsement as Radar Observer.

Students who successfully complete this 40-hour course, including successful demonstration of all practical assessments, will satisfy the requirements of 46 CFR 11.480(d) for an endorsement as Radar Observer (Unlimited) and the radar training requirements of Section A-II/1 and Table A-II/1 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010 for certification as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC).

The purpose of this bundle course to provide training for mariners in personal survival techniques, emergency evolutions, and evacuation procedures, Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties, and Steward training.

This course is intended to provide the basic knowledge and general shipboard galley familiarization required for personnel who will be assigned duties and responsibilities in the galley as a Steward’s assistant.

It comprises a basic training program appropriate to their duties, including oil and chemical tanker safety, fire safety measures and systems, pollution prevention, operational practice, and obligations under applicable laws and regulations.

The course objective is to provide the knowledge required for seafarers with designated security duties in connection with a Ship Security Plan (SSP) to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and Section A-VI/6 of the STCW Code, as amended.
