Evening classes allow students to train simultaneously while in school and graduate with the credentials they need for immediate employment.
Daytime classes are also available for students and adults who have graduated, are not in school, or prefer to train over the summer.
High-Paying Careers
Bluewater graduates earn excellent pay and benefits working on tankers, cargo ships, and other civilian vessels in exotic places around the world.
Typical entry-level jobs include deckhand, wiper (engineer), or steward (cook), with endless opportunity for advancement and pay rate increases.
No prior experience is necessary. Ages 16* and up.

Payment Plan
Total course fee: $1,850 payable in installments:
- $350 enrollment deposit (holds your seat)
- $750 due before the first class
- $750 due by the end of second week
If you need time to save up, you can put down your $350 enrollment deposit and select a course date several months in the future. Your deposit holds your seat. Class sizes are limited and fill quickly.

About Bluewater
Bluewater Maritime School has been in operation in the Jacksonville, Florida area since 1998. We provide merchant marine training to professional and future seafarers. All facilities, instructors, and courses are approved by the United States Coast Guard.
We provide complimentary assistance in completing the paperwork to obtain your Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC).
