About Us
Established in 1998, our school started by providing training for professionals in the maritime industry. Not long after, we also provided our services to private individuals, industry, and the military. We embarked on our nonprofit mission in February 2001.
A Reputable School
As we’re overseen by the United States Coast Guard (USCG), all of our courses are submitted to them for review. This is to ensure compliance with all the regulations and established requirements. Our school also submits instructor credentials to USCG for evaluation. We ensure that our teachers have the skills, licenses, and other certifications/documents to teach the applicable courses of instruction.
We have been a proud member of the Better Business Bureau since 2012 with an A+ rating.
Our classroom facilities are also approved by the Coast Guard
They do regular and drop-in audits to make sure that instructional and instructor requirements are being adhered to by our school.
Our school is certified by the State of Florida for vocational rehabilitation training, and as a WorkSource educational facility for the maritime industry.

What You Must Know About Our Program
Our 3-week training leaves our students well-prepared and qualified for entry-level positions on inland, near coastal, and international waters. Whether you want entry-level positions in the deck, engineering, and steward departments aboard any ship, the training and knowledge we give put you ahead of the competition.
Your training includes three STCW courses which lead to endorsements on Merchant Mariner Credentials (MMC), plus 4 days of practical knowledge. This includes terminology, ship construction, lines and anchoring, and knot tying and line splicing. We also hold classes during the evening.
The testing will be conducted at school, in lieu of the Coast Guard. We issue certificates immediately upon successful course completion. Additionally, we’ll help you properly prepare your Coast Guard application for credentials.
Seat deposits for our courses are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
